Refunds and cancellation

Cancel any time.
A Levelvale subscription ($10 a month or $89 a year) renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel from your billing page (the link is in the members area) or by writing to hello@levelvale.com from the email you paid with. Cancellation stops future charges; your access stays open until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing is charged after that.
14-day money-back on a first payment.
If Levelvale is not what you expected, write to hello@levelvale.com within 14 days of your first payment for a new subscription and we refund it in full. No questions are required; a sentence on what was missing helps us. The refund goes back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Renewals.
Renewal charges (the second month or the second year onward) are not refunded, except when the same period was charged twice or when a technical fault on our side kept you from using the service for a substantial part of the period. In those cases write to us and we refund or credit the affected period.
Annual plan.
The annual plan is a single payment for 12 months at a lower price. The 14-day money-back applies to it in full. After 14 days an annual payment is not refunded pro rata; you keep access until the end of the year.
How payments are processed.
Payments are handled by our payment partner, which acts as the merchant of record: it issues the receipt, applies any VAT or sales tax for your country and processes refunds. Depending on when you subscribed, this is Paddle.com Market Ltd or Gumroad, Inc.; the name is on your receipt. A refund we approve is issued through the same partner.
Consumers in the EU and UK.
The 14-day money-back above is at least as wide as the statutory right of withdrawal for digital services, and it applies even after you have started using the service. If your local law gives you a longer right, that right applies.
